COLE INSISTS GREALISH HAS HAZARD QUALITY

 

According to former England left-back Ashley Cole, Jack Grealish possesses similar qualities as Real Madrid superstar Eden Hazard. Since the past season, Grealish has put in a number of sophisticated performances for club side Aston Villa and has attracted praise from football legends and fans.


Cole believes that Grealish is a really top player and is a similar player to former Chelsea playmaker Hazard. However, despite his stings of emphatic performances for his club side, the 25-year-old has had to wait for opportunities to come by in the England setup.

CHELSEA TO ANNOUNCE HAVERTZ ARRIVAL

 

Premier League side Chelsea are set to consolidate on their additions this summer having confirmed the addition of Kai Havertz. The Blues have already secured the services of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner from Ajax and RB Leipzig respectively in big money deals. Havertz looks set to join the duo at Stamford Bridge.


Chelsea have been locked in long negotiations with Leverkusen about getting a deal done for Havertz and it now seems as though a deal is going to get done.

La Liga Returns, Lifeline for Eden Hazard

 

With the stoppage of La Liga due to the current pandemic situation, it was expected for the Eden Hazard fans to see him play again in the rest of the games for the title race. As the season is set to return soon, Hazard is ready to show his skills again. He was really looking beyond the Real Madrid club to the Euros after he underwent right foot surgery in March. It was that time when the fans thought that that would be the last game for Eden Hazard. But the La Liga return has given a lifeline to him and is ready to kick-start the game with Madrid.

When Real Madrid paid Eden 100 million Euros approximately for getting his signature from Chelsea in 2019, fans rushed to the Santiago Bernabeu for beating the queues for the unveiling of Hazard with the club. Nearly 50000 fans were successful to get inside the ground. Soon, they started questioning about him gaining weight before the season started as he struggled with several injuries throughout the season.

THREE EPL CLUBS IN RACE TO SIGN MADRID MIDFIELDER

 

Colombia international James Rodriguez is set to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season. Three premier league clubs have emerged as the front runner for the player’s signature. Arsenal, Everton and most recently Wolverhampton Wanderers. Tottenham Hotspur were also linked with the player in the past. But since the departure of Mauricio Pochettino, the club has cooled off their interest in the player. The withdrawal of Spurs will make it a three-horse race for the player.

James spent the last two easy on loan in Germany with Bayern Munich. The Bavarian did not sign the player on a permanent deal as he returned to Madrid last summer. James had offers from top clubs around Europe last summer, but he chose to stay and fight for his place in Zinedine Zidane’s squad. He has failed to make any positive impression all season. He is behind Federico Velverde and Luka Modric in the pecking order. Going further the arrival of Eden Hazard from Chelsea last summer has also limited the opportunities for James.

HAZARD EXPECTED TO RETURN TO ACTION

Eden Hazard is expected to return to first-team action from an ankle injury on Sunday as Real Madrid hosts Celta Vigo at the Santiago Bernabeu.


The Belgium international has struggled with fitness issue since making the move from Chelsea last summer.

He has been out since November, he took a knock in the UEFA Champions League match against PSG. But according to reports he is expected to make the matchday on Sunday.
